The Foundation offices will be closed for the month of July so our PromiseStaff can enjoy a well deserved vacation. Normal operations will begin again on August 4th. The school year is a major challenge for our staff and they need some quality time with their families and friends. We can always be reached by email and/or telephone if necessary.
This will be the last newsletter for the summer. We will return for the new school year on September 1st.
The Foundation staff will hit the ground running in August with two major events planned for our PromiseKids:
Under the leadership of Ghelamco’s CEO Jeroen van de Toolen, Member Company Ghelamco will sponsor a three day summer sports camp for 20 primary students from Nielep and Oparzno PromiseLand Schools from August 25-27th.
The camp will be held at the "Janina" Resort in Łeba which is located approximately 200m from the Baltic Sea and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. .Janina Resort also has its own magnificent swimming pool.
The PromiseKids will have swimming lessons, kick boxing activities, a variety of outside activities, dancing classes and a short course in practical spoken English. Bus trips to local attractions are planned and the kids will return home to the Promiseland with many fond memories. (See below)

Thanks InterContinental Hotel. You are the best…
We were very touched to receive a series of thank-you notes and art presentations from our PromiseKids this past week. We thought we would share some of these expressions of thanks with you.
We would like to thank Peter Gajewski, and his staff at Discipline Media for the incredible job they have done in preparing our weekly newsletters this past school year.
I prepare the newsletters each Saturday morning and send my draft off to Peter each Saturday Afternoon. Peter does his magic and returns the finished newsletter to me for distribution each Sunday evening.
Peter has been doing this for our Foundation for the past 13 years. It’s hard to imagaine the Foundation without Peter and his staff. We thank you Peter! Have a great summer and we will see you again on September 1st.
