the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love!"

Brzezno School - Our smallest PromiseKids from Brzeżno performed at the "Spring Day" celebration on March 21. The whole school community, from parents to littlest siblings came out to welcome in the first day of spring. FCSR Arts Director, Basia Kolasinska, prepared a beautiful artistic program incorporating all the elements of Spring for the audience. A wonderful time was had by all.
Slawoborze Special Education School – A different kind of Spring celebration took place at the Slawoborze Special Education School on March 21. All 109 PromiseKids, with different degrees of disabilities, participated in a short lecture about hygiene. At the end of the workshop, all the participants received Colgate-Palmolive cleaning supplies: toothbrushes, toothpaste and cosmetic sets for boys and girls. As many of you know, our late President and Founder of FCSR, Dr.Bill Chasey, spent most of his years in academia doing research on children with disabilities, so they had a special place in his heart. In 2005, he visited this school. Since then, we have had a close relationship with the children there and try to help when we can. Thank you Wojciech Król, GM of Colgate – Palmolive, for your continuous support!
Things are getting serious for 50 primary PromiseKids who are studying English on an e-learning platform, under the direction of FCSR Operations Manager, Malgorzata Ciucka. The students, from five schools: Bierzwica, Brzezno, Nowe Worowo, Mielenko, Drawski and Nielep, are involved in a competition for English awards at the end of this school year. Remember, the program is only offered before and after school, so these students, and their families are committed to learning English. Isn’t that wonderful? They are all doing great, so the competition is rigorous! Good luck to all participants! We always like to award the winners with English/Polish Dictionaries. If you would like to contribute a dictionary, please contact Malgorzata.
