Our Annual Dinner Dance is the highlight of our Foundation year, and we trust that each of our member companies will participate and experience it with us. Thanks to the generosity of the Warsaw Hilton Hotel we can host more than 600 guests every year. We can’t think of a better way for our member CEOs to entertain their company boards, management, staff, or friends than to expose them to the real meaning of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Music and dance are not a part of the regular school curriculum in our 15 PromiseLand Schools, and what the kids do know they have learned from our Arts Director Barbara Kolasinska in our Foundation’s weekly arts programs.
In September each year fifty of the PromiseKids audition to be selected to make the trip to Warsaw in February to entertain our Foundation members and quests with a stupendous production in the magnificent Grand Ballroom of the Warsaw Hilton Hotel. This is the most important event in their young lives. Our kids have been dreaming about this trip and they can’t wait to begin rehearsals.
The PromiseKid performers devote their time to perfecting their skills just for you. They will learn a lot of new songs in English, perform dance steps they have never tried before, rehearse and perform with a real life professional band, try on costumes, and count the days until their bus leaves for Warsaw.
It is no secret that the Foundation’s Annual Dinner Dance is one of our favorite events of the year. Our administrators and staff look forward to the day when the PromiseLand bus pulls into our Hotel’s driveway with its very special cargo of 50 enthusiastic PromiseKids. We especially love the look of surprise and wonderment on their faces as they pass through our revolving front door and capture for the first time the splendor and grandeur of the Hilton’s celebrated chandelier and elegant lobby.
