BRITISH SCHOOL CHRISTMAS-GIVING IN THE AIR
No words can possibly express the gratitude we feel towards the British School in Warsaw, who have been so dedicated over the years to making sure our PromiseKids have a wonderful Christmas. And once again, under the able leadership of Therese Asmar and Sonia Kolodziej, Co-Chairs of the PTA Charity Committee of the British School Warsaw, the BSW “Giving Tree” will be dedicated to our PromiseKids.
According to Therese:
“Students and parents at the British School in Warsaw have been buying Christmas gifts for children in North Western Poland for several years. This project is so popular at the school that we have increased the number of gifts we are fulfilling from 200 last year to 263 this year. I was honored to be at the schools when the children received their presents last year. I will always remember the smiling, excited faces of the children opening their presents and their thank yous. Also, my daughter’s excitement and joy when she told me she saw on the video the doll she gifted being unwrapped by the 6-year-old girl. We are able to do this project due to FCSR’s selection of the schools and their work to collect the students’ wishes and then co-ordinate the delivery of the gifts. It is a pleasure to work with Pani Malgosia Ciucka from FCSR.”
And again, Piotr Piekarowicz from FCSR member company, Move One Relocation Poland, offered to transport all the gifts from Warsaw to Swidwin. Thank you!
This wonderful event will take place on Santa Claus Day, the 6th of December (Mikolajki Day in Poland). We can’t wait! An early “thank you” to all the BSW parents, students and teachers for your wonderful support!
